Linda and I have a classic 1991 Madza Miata which we bought in September 1992. It had just over 11,000 miles on it then. We named her "White Lightning II." (My first auto was White Lightenin', a 1972 Datsun pickup with custom bumpers and a white camper top.)
The picture below is Linda and White Lightning taken at a mountain overlook at Massanuttan Four Season Resort just after White Lightening got her new white top. Cool, ain't it?
Now White Lightning now has over 270,000 miles on her and we don't plan to stop drivin' her as long as we can get parts to keep her fixed up. Look for us whenever a white on white Miata passes, if it has a Virginia tag that says "GLENN V" that's us!
